Clean slate. It's a New Year

Once this is published, it's out in the open.

My new years resolution:

1. Train to achieve a six pack by November 2012.  I will make this happen by eating whole foods and reduce my intake of junk.  Go to yoga at least twice a week.  Go to the gym twice a week.  Train with a trainer once a week.

2. Keeps friends close and close friends closer.  Set up play dates so I can connect with all my mommy friends.  Set up get together with all my girlfriends at least once a month.

3. Not wait around for things to be done.  If I want the garbage taken out, I will not nag my husband.  I will do it myself.  I will no longer wait around for things to happen.

4. Keep all my pockets, bags, purses and wallet neat and tidy.  Every Friday after work I will empty my pockets and purses.

5. Unsubscribe to all shopping sites.  I do not need another pair of jeans.  Even if they are on sales for 75% off.

6. Make sure my family knows they have my full undivided attention when they are talking to me.  I will turn off the TV, laptop, cellphone and ipod.

Time To Decide

Where do I start?

I guess I can start by turning the TV off.  It's mostly used for background noise, but sometimes it's so distracting, I can't concentrate on anything.

This is my new beginning to less clutter.  Turn the TV off.  Maybe stop watching altogether.  Do I really need to know what happens to Snookie?  Is it really important who sings better on American Idol?   Just typing these questions make me feel silly.  Okay, okay, it's off.  Ahhhh! much better.

Do it today

Why is there only 24 hours in a day?  There is too much to do.  Work, school, daughter, husband and house work. So much house work!!  So much clutter!!  When is there time for hobbies and interests?

After reading countless blogs on minimalism, DIY crafts, fashion, beauty (and many more) I finally decided to start my own blog.

I'm dabbling in every topic that peaks my interest.  Makeup artistry, 2D design, roller derby, crafting, photography and the list goes on.  There is always something swirling in my head. It's dizzying sometime.

It's time for me to purge all unnecessary possessions.  Maybe even cut out some hobbies and interests too.
